Meals:
Your 'Bure' (pronounced mbure), which is of traditional Fijian design, is equipped with modern amenities to ensure a
comfortable stay. The following provides details on these amenities.
Water: While the tap water in your Bure, which comes from a mountain spring on Qamea Island, is safe to drink we
prefer that you drink the rain catchment water provided in the glass carafes in your mini bar. Bottled FIJI Water is also
provided in your mini bar - charge applies.
Electricity: Electrical power in your Bure is 240 volts AC 50 hertz. A 110 AC volt charging console is available at the
Activities & Dive Centre for charging camera batteries.
Hair Dryer: A 240 volt AC hair dryer is provided in your bathroom.
Mini Bar: Your mini bar is stocked with bottled FIJI Water, non-alcoholic beverages, local beer, wine and some
snacks. All prices of mini bar items are in Fiji dollars and exclude Fiji Government Taxes. Your mini bar is replenished
daily.
Tea & Coffee facilities: A 240 Volt AC electric hot water jug is provided in your Bure as well as French press coffee
and tea making facilities. Coffee, tea, milk and sugar along with your complimentary cookie jar are replenished daily.
Daily Maid Service: Your housekeeper will service your Bure daily. Should you require anything for your Bure, our
housekeeping staff would be happy to assist.
Bath Accessories: Your bath accessories are from the locally made Pure Fiji range. Made with coconut oils and
infused with exotic tropical flowers, these beautiful products embody the essence of the islands.
Sulus: Sulu is the Fijian word for sarong or parea. Please enjoy the complimentary Matangi sulus provided in your
Bure.
Fans: There is a ceiling fan above your bed and above the lounge area in your Bure.
Mosquito Net: Your housekeeper will tuck your mosquito net over your bed during the evening turn-down service.
Aerogard insect repellant is also provided in your Bure. Your Bure windows are also screened to prevent mosquitoes
and bugs entering.
Towels: Fresh towels are provided daily. Beach towels are also provided in your Bure, pool side, as well as the
Activities & Dive Centre.
Bath Robes: Bath Robes are provided for your use during your stay. They are also available for purchase from the
Boutique.
Slippers: Complimentary slippers are provided in your Bure.
Laundry: Matangi offers a daily complimentary laundry service. For clothes that require laundering, please use the laundry
basket provided in your Bure.
Bure Keys: Please lock your Bure when it is vacant. Please return your Bure key to the office
staff at your check-out. For assistance with keys, please see Matangi's office staff.
In-Room Safe: There is an Electronic In-Room Safe in your wardrobe for storing your valuables. Instructions on
using the safe are provided in your Bure. For assistance, please see Matangi's office staff.
Flashlight: Although the walking paths are lit at night, a flashlight is provided in your Bure to aid you with walking
around the Resort at night.
Sun Lounges & Hammocks: Sun lounges and hammocks are available for your use along the Resort's beachfront.
Umbrellas: An umbrella is provided in your Bure. Umbrellas are also available from our dining room and office.
Bugs & Spiders: There are no harmful spiders or bugs in Fiji. Should you require bug spray, Mortein is provided in
your Bure.
